We are touched to share a story of transformation that highlights our Homeless Outreach Service and our incredible network of community services. Meet Emily*, a brave soul we recently had the privilege of helping on the Northern Beaches.

Emily was discovered sleeping rough in our community, facing unimaginable hardships. Our team ran outreach to build trust with Emily, providing her with the support and encouragement she needed to take the first steps to attend our drop-in centre, where we conducted an intake and safety assessment.

Recognising the urgency of Emily’s situation, we swiftly connected with our incredible partners at the Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter . Their team immediately responded, driving down to speak with Emily and offering her a path to safety in their shelter.

It’s moments like these that remind us of the incredible kindness and solidarity within our community. Together, we can make a profound difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals like Emily.
